The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) was the first in Canada to launch an online gambling site licensed and regulated by a provincial government. OpenBet and BCLC go a long way back. BCLC launched Play Now in 2010 on the OpenBet gaming platform and centralised account management system. Since then both partners have continued to develop the online gambling site through new products like Sports Pools.
